Yes! There is a "Rite" way to clean your carpets

Clearing up the confusion about an important health and appearance issue.

Questions You May Have About Carpet Cleaning?

Q: Will my carpets soil quicker after they are cleaned?

A: Unlike some other cleaning methods that can leave behind soil attracting residues, our cleaning will actually extend the life and appearance of the carpet. We also apply our “Green Guard” carpet protector to assist you in maintaining soil removal by regular vacuuming.

Q: Can some carpet cleaning methods actually hurt my carpet?

A: The cleaning technician doing the work is the key to safe and effective cleaning. Dry powder cleaning can use harsh chemical solvents mixed with gritty products that can build up in your carpet causing excessive soiling and even pollution. Carbonated chemical dry cleaning with a bonnet uses an abrasive spinning pad that can cause carpets to lose their texture and appearance. Dry foam cleaning uses optical brighteners to “hide” not remove soil, leaving a chemical residue. Rapid re-soiling an unhealthy environment can result from residues with these methods.

Q: What kind of cleaning agents do you use when you clean the carpet?

A: Our cleaning depends on natural hot water and our state of the art Certified by the EPA Design for the Environment Program registered cleaning agents, are also “Carpet Rug Institute” approved as well. We thus eliminate the need for excessive and aggressive chemicals, solvents and harsh scrubbing. We only use professional biodegradable agents that are safe for us, for our customer, and easy on our environment.

Yes! There is a "Rite" way to clean your upholstery

What you should know about care and cleaning of your upholstery.

What people ask about upholstery cleaning?

Q: How often should I have my upholstery cleaned?

A: According to the American Furniture Manufacturers Association, you should not let your upholstery get soiled to the point of a noticeable or visible change in the colour of the fabric. This means that most upholstery has to be cleaned as a regular maintenance practice once every 18 – 24 months or before soil builds up and stains the fabric. Maintenance cleaning is less aggressive and is safer for dyes and fabric integrity.

Q: Can I clean my own upholstery?

A: Furniture manufacturers and fabric producers agree that the best cleaning recommendation is to use a certified upholstery cleaning professional. Despite good intentions, do-it-yourself cleaning has often led to permanently damaged fabric.

Q: Why doesn’t my upholstery clean up as good as my carpet?

A: The fiber content, the construction, and the treatment of upholstery fabric are considerably different than carpet. Variables such as dye structure, yarn strength, back coatings, and weaves, make upholstery a far more delicate cleaning task. Most carpet is synthetic, whereas most upholstery is made up of natural fibers or a blend of many fibers. Thus, there is a need for specialized cleaning different than that of carpet.
